Internal Quality Audit Visitation in the Magisterin Natural Resource Management

On June 6, 2023 at 13.30 the Audit Mutu Internal (AMI) auditor team visited the Magister in Natural Resource Management  (MNR) in order to verify the data and activities that have been uploaded in the AMI system. This AMI activity is an annual agenda in order to evaluate the extent to which the Study Program has reached the target as outlined in the Study Program Strategic Plan. This AMI activity is very helpful in updating data, monitoring the progress of Study Programs, providing criticism for improvement of Study Programs, and also in the framework of preparing for National Accreditation.

As an introduction, the Head of Study Program conveyed an outline of the activities that have been carried out in the Study Program in 2021. The 2021 Tri Dharma PT activities in the Study Program are carried out in accordance with the 2021 RBA (Rencana Bisnis Anggaran). Lecture and practicum activities have been carried out according to plan. Learning evaluation has been carried out and contained in the UPM (Unit Penjamin Mutu) Faculty of Agriculture report. The Study Program also gave 3 research titles and 7 community service titles. These two activities were in accordance with the suggestions of the AMI assessor team which involved the MNR students. This research has resulted in publication output in the Jurnal Ilmu dan Teknologi Peternakan Tropis (accredited by Sinta 2). Supporting activities include organizing workshops on PBM (Proses Belajar Mengajar) SOP preparation and curriculum evaluation, national level study program accreditation, PEPSILI Congress (Association of Indonesian Environmental Science Study Programs), promotion via print media (RB) and direct visits to institutions, coordination with institutions related to Natural Resources Management  in several counties and cities. The PSDA Masters Study Program has also initiated collaborations, especially in terms of research for students and holding practicums. Unfortunately, this activity has not been documented in the form of documents. To improve services, the PSDA Masters has completed the required facilities and infrastructure. The study program continues to strive to increase the number of students graduating on time and achieving success in their studies.

From the visitation, there were still many inputs from the AMI period 3 auditors that had not been followed up. Therefore, it is recommended that it be followed up immediately, so that in the next AMI (August 2023) all the AMI period 3 auditors suggestion have been followed up. Apart from confirming the follow-up of the AMI period 3 findings, the auditor team also verified the data and activities that had been uploaded by the Magister in Natural Resource Management. Several input suggestions have been provided by the auditor team. The input and directions of the auditor team will be immediately followed up by the Study Program in order to improve Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi services at the Study Program level. Some suggestions for improvement include the need for a survey on the level of satisfaction of lecturers, students and students, maximizing collaboration, the mechanism for preparing SOPs (Prodi can submit SOPs to faculty leaders, faculty leaders send these proposals to the faculty senate to be discussed and then ratified by the faculty), SOP documents must be approved by the competent authority, research and community service SOP documents, professional organization membership fee assistance to lecturers, scholarships, maximum monitoring of lecture implementation (ensuring whether lecturers teach according to schedule, in accordance with course credits, updating course material), evaluation RPS (Rencana Pembelajaran Semester) by Gugus Kendali Mutu (GKM) and course coordinators, publication of achievements that have been achieved linked to targets that have been made in the Study Program Strategic Plan, coordination meetings (can be internal Study Programs, faculties, universities) need to make official minutes complete with attendance, and so on. Study Program plans to immediately follow up on the findings of the AMI auditors. Hopefully, in the future the MNRStudy Program can provide better services to stakeholders, both lecturers, students, students, alumni and the wider community.
