
NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT POLICY IN THE ECOTOURISM AREA ROVING IN THE PANJANG BEACH NATURAL TOURISM PARK, BENGKULU CITY

The Long Beach Nature Tourism Park, Bengkulu City, is part of the area in Bengkulu Province which has natural resources, namely the mangrove ecosystem which can be managed with natural resource and environmental management policies which have physical, biological benefits and for the local community. The natural resource management policies owned by the Bengkulu City natural tourism park consist of natural resource policies in natural tourist park areas and beaches, and fishery natural resource policies. Natural and beach tourism resources are in the form of natural tourism for birds in mangrove forests, natural recreation, while the natural fisheries resource policy has various fisheries potential as a fishing tourism area. This is also supported by strategic policies in managing natural resource areas where there is community and visitor participation. This participation includes coastal ecotourism activities and coastal environmental management. Supervision of the development of mangrove ecotourism areas by the government in collaboration with the community. Apart from that, improving coordination between the government and the community for the development of mangrove ecotourism areas. In terms of natural resource management policies in the mengrove ecotourism area in the Bengkulu City Nature Tourism Park, it is necessary to develop and add facilities and infrastructure that can support tourism activities. Apart from that, promotion of the natural tourist park area on the long coast of Bengkulu City needs to be increased. Strict regulations need to be issued and socialized. Supervision of activities that can damage the environment needs to be carried out.
