
Zero Waste Application
Zero waste is an approach and application of integrated regional-scale urban waste processing systems and technology with the aim of handling regional-scale urban waste so as to reduce the volume of waste as little as possible, as well as the creation of a small recycling industry managed by the community or local government. One of the Zero Waste concepts is applying the 3 R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Orientation for handling waste with the zero waste concept includes: Integrated waste processing system, composting technology, biogas, briquettes, animal feed etc., technology for recycling plastic, paper and other waste, waste burning and incinerator technology, liquid waste processing technology, waste final disposal technology, community participation in waste management and municipal waste processing.
