Marine Science Study Program Wins “Pengembangan Kurikulum Dan Percepatan Pembelajaran Perguruan Tinggi MBKM” Grant for 2024.

Bengkulu, May 24, 2024—The Marine Science Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a grant “Pengembangan Kurikulum Dan Percepatan Pembelajaran Perguruan Tinggi MBKM, supporting the Independent Campus (MBKM) initiative. The Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs made this official announcement in a letter received on May 23, 2024.

The selection process, conducted by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, evaluated numerous proposals submitted by universities across Indonesia. Several proposals were deemed worthy of funding, and the Marine Science Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture was among the selected few. This recognition highlights their efforts to develop the curriculum and accelerate learning in line with the vision of the Independent Campus initiative.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, expressed high appreciation for this achievement. “The success of the Marine Science Study Program in securing this grant is an extraordinary accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated. It reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire team in developing an innovative and relevant curriculum.”

He also added that this grant presents a significant opportunity to further enhance the quality of education and learning in the Marine Science Study Program. “With this grant funding, I hope the Marine Science Study Program can optimally implement the planned programs, bringing substantial benefits to the students and preparing them to face challenges in the professional world.”

With this success, the Marine Science Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture is expected to continue innovating and making tangible contributions to improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia, in alignment with the spirit of the Independent Campus initiative.
