Multimedia Training, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu 2024

The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, successfully held a multimedia training entitled “Improving Technological Creativity and Multimedia Skills of Students in the Digital Era” on December 27-28, 2024. This activity was held at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Agriculture and was attended by dozens of participants from 9 study programs. The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si, who, in her speech, conveyed the importance of multimedia skills for students today, not only for the development of the Faculty of Agriculture but also as an added value for the students themselves to support success in the future.

This training featured speakers from the PROJEKITA team, Teddy Syah Fanroyen, Ana Meinawati, and Rahmat Hidayat. The material covered the steps for making and editing videos, camera operating techniques, and live streaming. Participants were also introduced to various equipment used in multimedia content production, including tools to support professional live broadcasts.

Through this training, students are expected to develop multimedia skills relevant to the digital era’s needs, especially to promote innovation in the agricultural sector. With the implementation of this training, it is hoped that it will be the beginning of similar activities that support student creativity in technology and multimedia.
