HIMASETA 2025 Work Meeting

Bengkulu, January 29, 2025 – The Agricultural Socio-Economics Student Association (HIMASETA) of the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB), held its 2025 Work Meeting on Wednesday (29/01). The opening ceremony took place in Room 3 of the Student Activity Center (PKM) at Universitas Bengkulu.

The HIMASETA Work Meeting was officially inaugurated by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si., who warmly welcomed all participants. In her opening remarks, Dr Hesti expressed her appreciation for the student’s enthusiasm for formulating innovative and relevant work programs aimed at fostering student potential and enhancing academic achievements.

Also present at the opening ceremony were Dr. Gita Mulyasari, SP., M.Si., Head of the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, along with Rihan Ifebri, S.P., M.Si., and Bembi Akbar Serawai, S.P., M.Sc., who serve as HIMASETA advisors. On this occasion, Dr. Gita Mulyasari provided guidance and motivation to HIMASETA’s management, emphasizing the importance of maintaining effective communication and fostering synergy between HIMASETA and the department to develop further and uphold the department’s reputation as the Best Study Program within the Faculty of Agriculture, as well as HIMASETA’s status as the Best Student Association within the faculty.

Meanwhile, Rihan Ifebri, S.P., M.Si., highlighted the role of the Agricultural Socio-Economics Student Association as an academic stabilizer. This Work Meeting serves as a crucial moment for HIMASETA to formulate its 2025 work programs, covering various areas, including Cadre Development, Community Service, Interests and Talents, Science and Reasoning, Finance and Entrepreneurship, Information and Communication, and Secretariat Affairs. The one-day event engaged all HIMASETA members in active discussions and planning.

This event is expected to mark a positive initial step in realizing HIMASETA as a dynamic, creative, high-achieving, and broad-minded student organization.
