Joint Wednesday of the Faculty of Agriculture, UNIB: Performance Report and Budget Efficiency Strategy

Bengkulu, February 26, 2025 – The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (UNIB) once again held “Joint Wednesday” (Rabuan Bersama). This routine agenda serves as a forum for friendship between faculty leaders and the entire academic community. The activity, which took place in the Faculty of Agriculture’s Dean’s meeting room, was attended by faculty leaders, including the Dean and Vice Deans, Coordinators and Sub-Coordinators, Head of Department, Study Program Coordinators, Head of Laboratory, education staff, and lecturers.
On that occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, UNIB, delivered a report on the faculty’s performance throughout 2024. Based on an evaluation of the 40 performance indicators that had been set, the Faculty of Agriculture managed to achieve the AA predicate or very satisfactory. Of the total indicators, 29 indicators received the AA category, three other indicators received the A predicate or acceptable, while the rest still needed improvement.
“The performance achievement of the Faculty of Agriculture this year reached 93.6%. This is the result of hard work and contributions from all faculty members. Although we have achieved AA predicate, there is still room for improvement, especially in several indicators that need to be improved so that the faculty’s performance is increasingly optimal,” said the Dean in his report.
In addition to discussing performance achievements, this forum also addressed the issue of budget efficiency, which is currently being implemented. The Dean emphasized that this policy will impact various aspects of faculty performance, so adjustments are needed in the implementation of activities so that they continue to run effectively.
“We must adapt to this budget efficiency condition. Therefore, resource management strategies must be adjusted so that academic and non-academic activities can continue to run well,” he added. Rabuan Bersama is not only a place to submit performance reports but also a discussion space for all faculty members to convey ideas and input and build synergy in facing future challenges. With the spirit of togetherness, the Faculty of Agriculture, UNIB, is optimistic that it can continue to improve academic and institutional quality in the coming years.
