
Marine Science Students Innovate ‘Kiyowo Soap’ from Seaweed Extract, Aiming for Market Success
Marine Science students at University of Bengkulu have successfully created a unique and promising innovative product. ‘Kiyowo Soap’, made from seaweed extract, is not only environmentally friendly but also has beneficial properties for the skin. The team, consisting of Aini Safitri Butar-butar, Teungku Ario Naldo, Angeli Silaban, and Febriyanti Hasibuan, successfully developed this product through the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW). With the guidance of their supervising lecturer, Nurlaila Ervina Herliany, S.Pi., M.Si., they hope that ‘Kiyowo Soap’ can become a leading product that can compete in the market and provide economic benefits to the community.
