
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs opened the Organizational Management Training (PMO) event of Hima Sylva PCSI UNIB
On Saturday, April 27, 2024, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, led the opening of the Organizational Management Training (PMO) event organized by the Student Association Hima Sylva PCSI UNIB. The event took place at GB 1, Faculty of Agriculture, UNIB.
Attended by all PMO participants, the Chairperson and Advisor of Hima Sylva, this event aims to equip students with the organizational management skills necessary to manage a student association. Under the theme “Fostering Smart, Competent, and Active Hima Sylva PCSI UNIB Cadres,” this event offers a series of training sessions designed to enhance skills in public speaking, leadership, budget and administrative management, communication, action management, Sylva Indonesia, and organizational development strategies.
The Chairperson of Hima Sylva expressed hope that participants could acquire knowledge and skills beneficial to their roles within the organization through PMO. They also actively encouraged all participants to engage and exchange experiences throughout the event. This event can serve as a good starting point in preparing resilient and dedicated cadres for Hima Sylva PCSI UNIB.
The Advisor of Hima Sylva PCSI UNIB, M. Fajrin Hidayat, S.Hut., M.Si, provided encouragement and motivation to the participants to engage enthusiastically and earnestly in each training session. They also emphasized the importance of maintaining a spirit of togetherness and collaboration within the organization. With good cooperation among members, Hima Sylva can continue to grow and positively contribute to students, the campus, and the community.
In her address, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati emphasized the importance of active student involvement in campus organizational development. She also commended Hima Sylva’s initiative in organizing this training event as a commitment to creating quality cadres capable of positively contributing to campus life.
