Training on Seagrass Beds Transects Permanent for the Students of Marine Science Study Program, University of Bengkulu: Preparatory Course for Thematic Community Service Program
A number of 20 students from the Marine Science Study Program carried out the training of student community service which will be held on Enggano Island. The material provided is related to the installation of seagrass permanent transects in Kahyapu Village and Kaana Village, Enggano Island. These two villages have abundant seagrass potential, so they need to be monitored continuously. Permanent transects of seagrass beds will provide time series biophysical data and information on seagrass beds. This activity is one of the students community service activity programs as a form of concern for the potential of coastal and marine resources, especially seagrass beds so that they are sustainable and can be utilized optimally.
