
Introduction The 3A: Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity for Marine Tourism Development in The Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island
A number of lecturers from the marine science study program, faculty of agriculture, Bengkulu University introduced the 3As: Attractions, Accessibility and Amenities to increase the development of marine tourism in Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island. Kahyapu Village is one of the coastal villages in the southeastern of Enggano Island which has beautiful beaches and sea, especially on the small islands around it such as Pulau Dua, Merbau Island and Bangkai Island. Marine tourism in Kahyapu Village is managed by Pokdarwis Podipo. The attraction aspects that need to be considered are related to marine tourism destinations and the attractions which supports Kahyapu Village as a maritime village. Accessibility includes access and waterways to, from and to Enggano Island. Amenities consist of Kahyapu Village facilities which support the development of marine tourism such as hotels, restaurants, and so on. The introduction of 3A, namely attractions, accessibility, and amenities, is expected to be a strategy to increase marine tourism in Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island.
