The media inform the students not only the name but also the function of each species. Some students really excited when they discovered about additional benefits for human body, especially the girls that know the benefit of some of mangrove species are for skincare. This socialization needs to be done from an early age to instill a good mindset for the mangrove ecosystem among the younger generation. Therefore, in the future they can have an awareness to keep the ecosystem sustainable. It is important because in a small island like Enggano, the natural barrier is significantly needed to protect the island from the threat that come from ocean.
