Welcoming New Students at the Marine Science Study Program, University of Bengkulu

Thursday (08/08/2024)  The Welcome of New Students at the Marine Science Study Program, University of Bengkulu was held in the Marine Science Study Program Yard of UNIB. This is an important momentum to welcome new students for the 2024/2025 academic year. This activity was attended by around 64 new students, accompanied by fellow students from the 2023 and 2022 batches. This activity began with remarks by the Himailka Trustee, Mr. Dr. Yar Johan, M.Si and provided motivation to new students related to lectures in the Marine Science Study Program. Furthermore, the remarks by the Head of the Marine Science Study Program, Mr. Ir. Zamdial, M.Si, as well as introducing all Lecturers, Staff and Laboratory Laboratories of the Marine Science Study Program UNIB.

This event not only serves as an orientation, but also as a bridge to introduce new students to the academic and social environment in the Study Program. Through this activity, it is hoped that new students can better understand the Marine Science study program and establish good relationships with fellow students and lecturers. This activity is considered very important to prepare new students to be ready to live campus life. New students showed high enthusiasm during the event .
