
OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 2024 ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT TRAINING: THE FIRST STEP IN DEVELOPING COMPETENT HIMAILKA CADRES

The Marine Science Student Association (HIMAILKA) of the University of Bengkulu held the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Organizational Management Training (PMO) on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Meeting Room of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), University of Bengkulu.
This event is a routine agenda of HIMAILKA aimed at equipping new students, particularly the 2024 cohort, with fundamental knowledge and managerial skills as a foundation for organizational involvement. All Marine Science students from the 2024 intake participated in this training.
The event officially began with a speech by Head of the Organizing Committee, Perdian Perbi Teriyadi (IKL-2023). In his remarks, he expressed appreciation to all parties who supported the event’s success and encouraged participants to actively engage in every session of the training as an initial step to develop their organizational potential.
Following this, a speech was delivered by HIMAILKA Advisor, Mrs. Nella Tri Agustini, S.Kel., M.Si., who also officially opened the 2024 Organizational Management Training. In her address, she emphasized the importance of student organizations as a means of developing character, leadership, and responsibility. She also commended the enthusiasm of the new students and HIMAILKA’s dedication to fostering an active and inspiring organizational environment. This training marks the beginning for participants to understand organizational dynamics and strengthen camaraderie among peers. The training will continue with a series of materials and interactive sessions designed to shape HIMAILKA cadres who are competent, integrity-driven, and ready to contribute to various organizational and community service activities.
