
Internal Quality Audit Visit at Marine Science Study Program UNIB: Strengthening Academic Governance and Quality Assurance
Bengkulu, October 9, 2025 – The Marine Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, carried out an Internal Quality Audit (IQA) visit as part of its continuous effort to enhance academic quality and strengthen governance at the study program level. This visit followed the earlier phase of IQA instrument completion, which had been conducted from September 1 to 21, 2025.
The audit visit was conducted by two internal auditors, Debbie Rizqoh, S.Si., M.Biomed., and Dr. Neni Murniati, M.Pd., who were present to verify and confirm the data and documents submitted by the Marine Science Study Program team.
As part of the audit process, the Marine Science Study Program completed 51 Strategic Performance Indicator (IKSS) instruments and 85 study program instruments, covering several key criteria, including:
- Criterion A: External conditions
- Criterion B: Profile of the study program management unit
- Criterion C: Governance, lecturers, and students
- Criterion D: Analysis and assessment of program development accuracy
The visit was conducted thoroughly, lasting from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM, during which the auditors carefully reviewed and validated the evidence and supporting documents submitted by the study program.
The activity concluded with the signing of the audit result report by the auditors, the Head of the Marine Science Study Program, and the attending lecturers. One copy of the audit report was officially handed over to the study program, while another copy was retained by the auditors for institutional records.
Through this Internal Quality Audit, the Marine Science Study Program of UNIB reaffirms its commitment to strengthening academic governance, ensuring transparency, and fostering a sustainable quality assurance culture within the Faculty of Agriculture and the University of Bengkulu.
