
Marine Science Lecturers and Students of Universitas Bengkulu Support the 2026 Economic Census through Socialization Program
Lecturers and students of the Marine Science Study Program, Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB), participated in the Socialization of the 2026 Economic Census, held on 14 October 2025 at Hotel Mercure. The activity aimed to enhance public statistical literacy, particularly among academics, regarding the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
The socialization program served as an important platform to strengthen the role of higher education institutions as strategic partners in supporting national programs related to statistics and development planning. Through this activity, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the objectives, benefits, and significance of the Economic Census in providing accurate and reliable data to support evidence-based national development policies.
The participation of Marine Science lecturers and students reflects the commitment of Universitas Bengkulu’s academic community to actively contribute to data-driven development. It is expected that the knowledge obtained from this activity will be disseminated to the wider community, thereby increasing public awareness and participation in the 2026 Economic Census.
Furthermore, the activity contributed to strengthening synergy between higher education institutions and relevant stakeholders in promoting more targeted, sustainable, and data-based national development planning.
