The Marine Science Program Conducts Socialization Visits to Schools in Bengkulu City

From Monday to Friday, January 13-17, 2025, the Marine Science Program at the University of Bengkulu, in collaboration with the HIMAILKA team, conducted a socialization and promotion visit to several high schools and vocational schools in Bengkulu City.

The purpose of this visit was to introduce the Marine Science program to high school students who might be interested in pursuing a degree in marine science. The schools visited included SMA N 1, SMA N 2, SMA N 3, SMA N 4, SMA N 7, SMA N 9, SMK Taruna Kelautan dan Perikanan, SMK N 4, and SMK 15.

During the socialization sessions, the Marine Science program provided information about the curriculum, career opportunities, and the potential developments within marine studies. The HIMAILKA team also explained the scholarships and facilities available for students. It is hoped that this event will offer valuable insights and inspire students to consider Marine Science as a future academic path.
