Marine Science Lecturers Serve as Main Committee Members in LSP P1 Universitas Bengkulu Competency Certification Program

Bengkulu — Two lecturers from the Marine Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Bengkulu, Mukti Dono Wilopo, S.Pi., M.Si. and Syarifudin Nur, S.Kel., M.Si., served as main committee members in the implementation of the Professional Competency Certification Program organized by LSP P1 Universitas Bengkulu, in collaboration with Bank Indonesia.

The certification activity was conducted under the Digital Marketing competency scheme as part of the Generasi Literasi Teknologi (GLT) Universitas Bengkulu program and took place on 11–13 August at Universitas Bengkulu. The program aimed to strengthen participants’ professional competencies and provide nationally recognized certification aligned with industry and institutional needs.

As members of the main organizing committee, the Marine Science lecturers were actively involved in planning, coordination, and implementation of the certification process. Their responsibilities included technical coordination, ensuring compliance with LSP standards, facilitating assessment activities, and supporting the smooth execution of certification sessions in accordance with the established competency framework.

The involvement of lecturers from the Marine Science Study Program in this cross-disciplinary certification initiative reflects the program’s commitment to supporting university-wide capacity building, digital competency development, and industry collaboration. Participation in LSP P1 activities also contributes to strengthening the implementation of outcome-based education (OBE) and enhancing graduate employability through certified professional skills.

Through collaboration between Universitas Bengkulu and Bank Indonesia, the competency certification program is expected to provide added value for participants and support the university’s strategic agenda in developing digitally literate and professionally certified human resources.
