
Opening of KORAL (Marine Science New Student Orientation Camp) 2025 Officially Held
Bengkulu, December 13, 2025 — The Marine Science Study Program through the Marine Science Student Association (HIMAILKA) of the University of Bengkulu officially opened KORAL (Marine Science New Student Orientation Camp) 2025, which was held for four days from Saturday to Tuesday, December 13–16, 2025. The main activities of the camp took place at Pantai Pekik Nyaring.
The opening ceremony of KORAL 2025 was held at the courtyard of the Marine Science Study Program, University of Bengkulu, and was officially opened by the HIMAILKA Advisor, Mrs. Nella Tri Agustini, S.Kel., M.Si. In her remarks, she emphasized that KORAL is an important stage in the orientation process for new Marine Science students, particularly in building character, discipline, solidarity, and awareness of coastal and marine environments.
Throughout the program, new students participated in various activities, including an introduction to the Marine Science Study Program, strengthening marine science knowledge, leadership development, and field-based activities that foster teamwork and environmental awareness. Through KORAL 2025, it is expected that new students of the Marine Science Study Program at the University of Bengkulu will be able to adapt to the academic and student organizational environment and be prepared to become students with integrity, strong character, and a marine-oriented perspective.
