The Marine Science Study Program, University of Bengkulu, continues to strengthen the quality of its academic curriculum through the development and review of Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based Course Learning Plans (Rencana Pembelajaran Semester/RPS).

The activity, titled “Penyusunan RPS OBE (Akademik)”, focuses on aligning course learning plans with the principles of Outcome-Based Education. The process includes reviewing course learning outcomes, learning objectives, teaching and learning activities, assessment methods, and learning resources to ensure that each course contributes effectively to the achievement of the study program’s graduate learning outcomes.

Through this activity, lecturers are encouraged to develop more structured, measurable, and student-centered learning plans. The implementation of OBE is expected to improve the relevance and quality of the learning process while ensuring that the curriculum remains aligned with academic standards and the needs of the marine science field.

The development of OBE-based RPS is also part of the Marine Science Study Program’s ongoing commitment to continuous academic quality improvement and the implementation of a curriculum that supports competent, adaptive, and professionally prepared graduates.

The Marine Science Study Program will continue to evaluate and improve its academic curriculum to provide a high-quality learning experience for students and strengthen its contribution to the development of marine science in Indonesia.
