The Forestry Study Program of FP UNIB has obtained the Higher Education Curriculum Development and Learning Acceleration Assistance Program to support implementing the MBKM Mandiri Program 2023.
The Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (FP UNIB) has achieved impressive success by obtaining the Higher Education Curriculum Development and Learning Acceleration Assistance Program to support implementing the MBKM program in 2023.
The Forestry Study Program of FP UNIB, known for its dedication to producing competent forestry experts, has obtained grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). This assistance aims to accelerate the development of innovative curricula and learning and support the transformation of higher education in Indonesia.
In his official comments, the Dean of FP UNIB, Prof. Dwi Wahyuni Ganefianti, expressed her pride in the achievements of the Forestry Study Program. “The success of the Forestry Study Program in obtaining the Higher Education Curriculum Development and Learning Acceleration Assistance Program is clear evidence of our commitment to producing quality graduates who are able to adapt to developments in the world of work,” said the Dean.
This assistance will be used to update the MBKM curriculum for the Forestry Study Program of FP UNIB, integrate the latest technology, provide interactive learning methods and directly play an active role in communities in villages around the forest. With this change, it is hoped that students of the Forestry Study Program of FP UNIB will be better prepared to face future challenges and make a real contribution to forest conservation and natural resource management.
Prof. Ganefianti also expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Culture for assistance. “This grant will help us strengthen the forestry study program curriculum so that it is more relevant to the needs of the forestry industry and increasingly complex environmental challenges. We will also utilize the latest technology in the learning process to prepare our students to become skilled forestry experts and have high social sensitivity.
Through this accelerated program, the FP UNIB Forestry Study Program can become one of the leading study programs in forestry at the national level and produce quality graduates who can compete in the global job market.
