The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Hikaperta Mitra Sejahtera Cooperative generates a net operating surplus of hundreds of Millions of rupiah.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year 2023 conducted by the Agricultural Faculty’s Cooperative, Hikaperta Mitra Sejahtera (HMS), yielded a Net Operating Surplus (NOS) of IDR 213,452,150. This substantial NOS will be distributed proportionally among its members. Dr. Budiyanto, the chairperson of the HMS cooperative, conveyed that this NOS amount reflects a slight decrease of approximately IDR 50 million compared to the fiscal year 2022. The primary reason cited for this decline is the reduced interest among members in borrowing funds.
“The decrease in the number of members borrowing funds from the cooperative also implies that the members are relatively prosperous, as their needs can be met independently without assistance from the Cooperative,” stated the cooperative’s chairperson. During this AGM, a formatur team was selected to facilitate the formation of new officers and supervisors for the cooperative, marking the conclusion of the previous term. The formatur team comprises Dr. Guswarni Anwar, Ir. Lukman Hidayat, M.P., Prof. Agustin Zarkani, and Ir. Bambang Sumantri, M.S. This team will operate within the next 30 working days to establish the new management for the 2024-2028 term. Bravo, Faculty of Agriculture!
