Hikaperta Sharia Cooperative and DWP Hold Sharia Study
The Hikaperta Sharia Cooperative and the Dharma Wanita PBB Association held a study on “Basic Principles of Sharia in Islamic Economics.” The event was delivered by Ustadz H.M Al Ghazali, Lc., M.H.I attracted much attention from the academic community at the Faculty of Agriculture, Bengkulu University. In this study, Ustad Ghozali said, “As slot gacor Muslims, we must prioritize using sharia financial institutions, whether banking, cooperatives, Baitul Mal and so on, in full and not as an alternative because this provision has been regulated by Allah SWT in the Al-Quran so that we do not commit usury. One example for example, if we have money deposited in a conventional bank, then our funds will be collected by the bank with other customers’ funds to be lent to other customers, which could be used for businesses that are contrary to Islamic rules, for example, the business of selling drinks—intoxicants (alcohol) and so on. Because conventional banks in their contracts do not use contracts like Sharia banks, conventional banks do not ask what the funds are needed for; in principle, they are happy to lend money and make a profit from the loan interest.
Meanwhile, Sharia banks must ask about customers’ needs because the financing agreement is tailored to the customer’s needs. Also, Sharia banks will ask for proof of financing for these purposes and provide proof of purchase. Even bank staff will check at the location to meet sharia regulations according to needs.” “If there are irregularities in the use of funds, then the Sharia board will issue a warning to banking and request that the contract be canceled and the funds from the customer must be returned/withdrawn. Indeed, many people think that dealings with Sharia banks are complicated and take a long time, but this is a form of caution on the part of banks in assessing potential debtors. “It is okay for us to be patient in waiting for the process to take a little longer as long as it follows the sharia system,” said Ustadz Ghozali.
