Two Wageningen University Students Collaborative Research Internship with UNIB
Two students from Wageningen University were again present to undertake research internships at Bengkulu University (UNIB), especially at the Faculty of Agriculture, in the even semester of 2024. This internship research program results from a follow-up collaboration with PT Arconesia, a business activity company based on land conservation and cultivation environment. The two students are Wisse Zwanenburg and Annika Nelles. Wisse Zwanenburg will focus on evaluating the integration system for goat livestock with oil palm plants. At the same time, Annika Nelles will conduct research evaluations on the integration of watermelon plants and the rejuvenation period for oil palm plants. Previously, five students from Wageningen University had also completed research internships in Bengkulu on topics related to palm oil. The presence of these international students again shows UNIB’s position, which continues to grow and become a university with strong international collaboration. Bravo Faperta, Bravo University of Bengkulu!
