Vice Dean for Student Affairs Opens the 8th HMPT FP KBM UNIB Birthday Event

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, students of the plant protection department proudly celebrated the 8th Birthday of the Plant Protection Student Association (HMPT). The Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Hesti Pujiwati officially opened this event in the Plant Protection Department Office.

Dies Natalis is an essential moment for HMPT to celebrate its journey in developing interest and skills in plant protection. This year, the theme was “tightening the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity.” Several plant protection lecturers attended the opening ceremony of Dies Natalis: Dr. Mimi Sutrawati, SP. M.Si, the Head of the Plant Protection Department, and Prof. Dr. Dwinardi Apriyanto, M.Sc., Ir. Nadrawati, MP., and Affifatchur Fauzi, SP. M.Si, which is the Board of Trustees of HMPT. Their presence gave great enthusiasm and support for this celebration.

In her speech, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, expressed his appreciation for HMPT’s dedication and achievements during the last eight years. She also emphasized the importance of HMPT’s role in supporting sustainable agricultural development through innovation and collaboration.

This Dies Natalis event is a celebration event and a moment of reflection to evaluate HMPT’s achievements and plan future steps to continue to develop and make a significant contribution to Indonesian agriculture.
