The Vice Dean for Student Affairs Inaugurates the DPM FP-KBM UNIB for 2024

Bengkulu, May 20, 2024 – In a solemn ceremony, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., MP., the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Bengkulu, inaugurated the members of the Student Representative Council of the Faculty of Agriculture – Student Union of the University of Bengkulu (DPM FP-KBM UNIB) for the 2024 period. The inauguration ceremony was held in the Dean’s Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture on Monday, May 20, 2024.

The appointment of the DPM FP-KBM UNIB represents students in voicing their aspirations and interests within the academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture. This organization plays a crucial role in bridging communication between students, lecturers, and faculty leadership and is a partner in enhancing the quality of education within the Faculty of Agriculture.

In her remarks, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs appreciated the role of the DPM FP-KBM UNIB as a platform for students to develop themselves and actively participate in various student activities. She hoped the new board members would effectively carry out their duties and responsibilities and be role models for other students.

The newly inaugurated Chairperson of the DPM FP-KBM UNIB, Turko Prastio, conveyed his commitment to advocating for students’ interests and improving the quality of education at the Faculty of Agriculture. “We will work hard to become an effective communication bridge between students, lecturers, and faculty leadership and encourage student participation in various academic and non-academic activities,” he stated.

Representatives of students from the Faculty of Agriculture and other invited guests attended the inauguration ceremony. The atmosphere was solemn and filled with hope for the success of the DPM FP-KBM UNIB board members in carrying out their entrusted duties.
