Internship Program of Agroecotechnology Study Program.

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Heri Dwi Putranto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., officially represented the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, in a ceremony held in Classroom Building I, Room 2, to formally release 71 students from the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, for their internship program. The event was also attended by the Head of the Department of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Reny Herawati, M.Si., the Head of the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Ir. Eko Supriyono, M.S., as well as the field supervisors for the internship program, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahrurrozi, M.Sc., Prof. Dr. Ir. Widodo, M.Sc., Prof. Dr. Ir. Alnopri, M.S., Dr. Ir. Supanjani, M.Sc., and Dr. Ir. Sigit Sujatmiko, M.Sc.

73 students registered for the internship program during the Inter-Semester Course (KAS) period. Following a selection process, 71 students were declared eligible to participate in the internship. These students will be dispatched to 25 companies in Bengkulu City, Seluma Regency, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Tengah Regency, and Muko-Muko Regency. Additionally, some companies are located outside Bengkulu Province, such as in Pagar Alam City, Lahat Regency, and Musi Rawas Regency (Rupit District) in South Sumatra Province and North Sumatra Province.

The internship program will commence on June 5, 2024, and conclude on July 26, 2024. Students will engage in field academic processes through office work or field practice in plantations. The companies will supervise the students on site, while the Faculty of Agriculture will be represented by Field Supervisors tasked with monitoring activities, verifying weekly reports, and final internship reports.
