Closing Ceremony of PMBA Himagrotek 2024

Bengkulu, September 22, 2024 – The 2024 Himagrotek Agroecotechnology New Student Welcoming Program (PMBA) was officially closed by the Secretary of the Agricultural Cultivation Department, Muhimmatul Husna, SP. M.Si, in the closing ceremony held at the GB1 Building, University of Bengkulu. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation to all committee members and participants who had actively participated during the event. “I hope that the enthusiasm that has been shown during this PMBA can continue to be carried over into lectures and organizational life,” said Muhimmatul Husna.

The closing ceremony was also attended by Ir. Eko Suprijono, MP, Head of the Agroecotechnology Study Program, who motivated the new students to continue to be active in academic and non-academic activities. “The balance between academics and organizations is the key to achieving success in the campus world,” said Ir. Eko Suprijono.

In addition, Dr. Ir. Rustikawati, MS, as the Advisory Board of Himagrotek, was also present and gave important messages regarding the contribution of students in the development of sustainable agriculture. She emphasized that Himagrotek students have a big role in bringing innovation in the field of agroecotechnology.

After a series of speeches and motivational messages, the event continued with the symbolic presentation of awards to groups of students who excelled during PMBA. The closing of PMBA Himagrotek 2024 ended with a group photo, marking the end of the welcoming activity, which was successful and full of enthusiasm. New students are expected to be able to implement the experience and knowledge gained during this activity in lectures and organizational activities in the future.
