
Agrotechnology Student of the University of Bengkulu Wins 1st Place in National Poster Competition
Bengkulu, October 2025 — A student has made another outstanding achievement from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu. Bayu Ikhwandi, a student of the Agrotechnology Study Program, successfully won First Place in the National Poster Competition at the GENTA 2025 (Gerakan Nyata Agroekoteknologi) event organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang.
The national-level competition brought together participants from various universities across Indonesia, highlighting innovation and student contributions to sustainable agriculture. Through his creative, informative, and educational poster, Bayu impressed the judges and stood out among numerous talented competitors.
“This achievement demonstrates that students of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, possess exceptional potential and national competitiveness, especially in effectively communicating scientific ideas relevant to contemporary agricultural challenges,” remarked one of the supervising lecturers.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture also expressed his appreciation for this accomplishment, emphasizing that Bayu’s success should inspire other students to continue innovating, creating, and competing at both national and international levels.
GENTA 2025 is an annual national event that brings together students to share ideas, research outcomes, and creative solutions to support resilient, sustainable agricultural development in Indonesia.
