Selection of Funded Student Organizations for National-Level Competition 2026 Successfully Conducted by FP UNIB

Bengkulu, March 1st, 2026 — The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Bengkulu (FP UNIB), successfully organized the Selection of Funded Student Associations (Himpunan Mahasiswa/Hima) and Student Activity Units (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa/UKM) as part of a strategic initiative to designate organizing bodies for the National-Level Student Competition 2026.

The event was officially inaugurated by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, S.P., M.Si. In her opening remarks, she underscored the pivotal role of student organizations in enhancing institutional competitiveness and academic reputation through the implementation of innovative and impactful national-scale programs.

The selection process was conducted through a structured proposal presentation session, with each participating organization allocated a 30-minute presentation slot. The participating student organizations included:

  • Himagrotek
  • Himaseta
  • UKM Kampala
  • UKM Media Cendikia
  • Himasilva
  • Himatin

The evaluation process was carried out rigorously and objectively by a panel of distinguished reviewers:

  • Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si
  • Ridha Rizki Novanda, S.E., M.Si
  • Selly Ratna Sari, S.Pi., M.Si

The assessment framework encompassed multiple critical dimensions, including the originality and relevance of program ideas, feasibility of implementation, projected impact, and scalability to the national level.

Based on the comprehensive evaluation results, three student organizations were selected as recipients of funding and officially appointed as organizing committees for the National-Level Competition 2026, namely:

  1. UKM Kampala
  2. Himatin
  3. Hima Sylva

These organizations were recognized for demonstrating superior proposal quality, characterized by strong conceptual innovation, practical feasibility, and significant potential for broader societal and academic impact.

This selection initiative represents a strategic effort to strengthen student organizational capacity, enhance the quality of student-led programs, and reinforce the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Bengkulu’s contribution and visibility at the national level.
