Faculty of Agriculture UNIB Students Study Internationally at RIMIOA King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang thailand

Two students from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, had the opportunity to conduct academic activities for 1 semester in Thailand, specifically at the Research Institute of Modern Organic Agriculture (RIMOA) at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Bangkok, Thailand. The two best students of FP UNIB are Irvani NIM E1J023052 from the Ahroekotechnology Study Program and Gideon P.L. Batu NIM E1J023033 from the Agroecotechnology Study Program. Students will carry out academic activities under the direct guidance of Prof. Dr. Kasem Soytong from RIMIOA KMITL.

Students have been officially released by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof.Dr.Ir. Suharyanto, M.Si, who was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Prof. Heri D. Putranto, M.Sc., Ph.D and the Coordinator of FP Cooperation UNIB Dr. Ir. Nurmeilisari, M.Sc., at the meeting held in the Dean’s office on April 15, 2026. The Dean said goodbye to the students and advised them, as representatives of UNIB as well as of the State, to maintain the good name of the institution and the State in other countries and to continue to communicate intensively with the faculty while undergoing the program in the land of the White Elephant. The departure of these students is a preliminary activity before UNIB receives an official visit from Prof. Kasem Soytong to the UNIB campus during the UNIB Anniversary celebration in mid-April 2026.
