Focus Group Discussion Regional Marine Conservation Areas

Regional Marine Conservation Areas Planning Team, Bengkulu University, chaired by Mr. Ir. Zamdial, M.Si successfully carried out a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Final Document for Determining Regional Marine Conservation Areas for Bengkulu Province. The FGD held by the Bengkulu Province Marine Fisheries Service was carried out in a hybrid manner. This activity was attended by district or city maritime services throughout Bengkulu Province, Loka PSPL Serang, and local NGOs such as Latun and Akar Foundation. The activity went smoothly, starting with remarks from the Head of the Bengkulu Province Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service, then continued with the presentation of documents by the head of the survey team from the Bengkulu University Marine Science Study Program. The discussion went smoothly, although there were pros and cons regarding the selection of areas and the requirements for determining the Regional Conservation Area.
