Marine Science Study Program Lectures Attend Academic Writing Workshop “Expanding Your Writing Horizons: Tips for International Publication”

Marine Science Study Program Lectures join the Academic Writing Workshop held by UPT Bahasa of University of Bengkulu on Friday, 10 November 2023. Dr. John R. Baker, lecturer at Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, mentored this training. Lectures should expand their article publication and join various research communities such as academia, Scopus, web of science, etc. Lectures should write articles like conference papers, research articles, review articles, teaching articles, book reviews, book chapters, and edited books. However, lectures should create a quota of submitting articles regularly to conference presentations, school journals, web of science, Scopus journals, non-indexed journals, and conference papers. The key to successful publishing is also explained by following the submission guidelines carefully, staying within word count, structure, language, format, word count, citation style, completing revisions early or on time, and registering on time. Furthermore, this event explored how to improve publication citation, writing successfully to publish in reputable international journals, and the best way to choose the journal publication. Lectures through this workshop should enhance their capacity building in writing indexed journals and broaden their research quality to be published in reputable international journals.
