Students of the Marine Science Study Program at Bengkulu University visited CV Coral International Bali

On December 7, 2023, students from the Marine Science Study Program at Bengkulu University visited CV Coral International in Bali. This visit was carried out to find out the process of commercial coral cultivation. Students can also see firsthand the diversity of corals cultivated. During the visit, the students were given an explanation of coral cultivation methods and techniques by CV Coral International employees. They were invited to tour production facilities such as tanks for cultivating seedlings and adult corals. Students were also introduced to various types of coral ranging from soft corals to hard corals.

A visit to CV Coral International provided a very valuable learning experience for Bengkulu University Marine Science students. This visit is very useful for broadening students’ horizons in the field of mariculture. Apart from that, they also got a direct picture of how the coral cultivation process is carried out commercially. This can be a valuable provision for students in the future if they enter the arranging industry.
