Bengkulu, July 2025 – Entering the middle of the academic year, the Marine Science Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (UNIB), has significantly ramped up its final assignment (Thesis/Skripsi) supervision activities. Throughout July 2025, the academic staff offices and laboratories have seen frequent meetings between supervising lecturers and final-year students. This period is crucial for students to finalize their research, covering everything from complex data analysis to the drafting of the final chapters of their research reports. The commitment of the lecturers is clearly demonstrated through flexible consultation hours, often extending beyond formal work hours, to ensure that every methodological or substantive obstacle faced by students is resolved.

The primary focus of this intensive guidance is to guarantee the scientific quality of the resulting Theses, in line with the research quality standards established by the faculty. Aside from discussing the substance of the research, students also receive coaching on the ethics of scholarly writing and preparation for their defense examinations. The students have welcomed this high level of support, which is instrumental in maintaining their motivation and ensuring timely graduation. It is strongly anticipated that this intensified supervision will lead to positive outcomes, resulting in a significant increase in the number of students who successfully complete and defend their Theses in the upcoming graduation period, thereby upholding the academic reputation of the Study Program.
