Marine Science Students are chosen as awardee Pelindo Champion Scholarship.

       Pelindo and the University of Bengkulu. Pelindo is the largest port service company in Indonesia. Pelindo has a branch in Bengkulu. As a form of collaboration with Bengkulu University, Pelindo provides scholarships for active semester 5 and 7 students to participate in the selection of the Pelindo Champion Scholarship. In this scholarship, students must write a short essay about the port.

           Of the 20 students selected from all study programs at Bengkulu University, two marine science students were chosen as awardees. The two students were named Ferdy Gotawa, a 5th-semester student with the essay title “Indonesian Port Activities Support the Blue Economy in Utilization of Marine Space,” and Annas Tasya Shefia Ardila as a 7th-semester student with the essay title “Pioneering Services for Increasing Accessibility of the Outer Islands.” Marine Science Study Program will always support student creativity by directing students to participate in student selection or other activities. Thus, there is great hope for the marine science study program to be more advanced.
