Study Programs and Departments are Ready to Realize Institutional Excellence Targets

Taking place in the Hall of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Thursday (06/07/23), a contract was signed for the 2023 Study Program (Prodi) performance target. This performance contract was derived from a contract target similar to that of the Dean and the Rector, which had also been carried out the previous month. “The basis for achieving the performance target is in the Study Program; even though on average our faculty institutions are superior, when viewed per study program, not all of them will excel and this requires cooperation and the same understanding so that each study program can measure its own targets,” said Prof. Dwi Wahyuni Ganefienti as Dean. “One example, for example, in 2022 the performance of the faculty is excellent, but when broken down per Study Program, none of our Study Programs dominates the highest scores per each Main Performance Indicator (IKU) category,” continued the Dean of Faperta. “We are optimistic that with the spirit of joint work from colleagues in the Study Program, this achievement target will be more planned and evaluated because the Study Program has sufficient tools and resources, but if later a policy is needed across Study Programs and Faculties and Universities, we will assist and take strategic actions to achieve the common target, “concluded the Dean in his remarks. Separately, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Resources, and Student Affairs also expressed optimism about the next performance. “We have mobilized students to be directly involved in creating a Hima/Ormawa work program that realizes these performance targets,” said the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs. On the same occasion, Dr. Mimi Sutrawati feels very challenged by this performance contract as Head of the Department and also Head of the Plant Protection Study Program. Let us work together to make Faperta Excellent towards world-class UNIB in 2025!
