357 Students of the Faculty of Agriculture Participate in KKN

As many as 357 students from the Faculty of Agriculture participated in the 100th Period of Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN), which began to be held simultaneously from 3 July to 16 August 2023 with the theme “Community Empowerment Based on Local Potential.” These Faperta students will join with other UNIB students from across faculties: the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP), 814 people; the Faculty of Law (FH), 376 people; the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), 386 people, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Sciences Politics (FISIP) 393 people, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) 240 people, Faculty of Engineering (FT) 296 people, and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) 92. The total number of UNIB student KKN participants this time was 2,954 people consisting of 1085 men and 1869 women. The KKN release event was attended by the dean of the scope of UNIB, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Bureaus, Field Supervisors (DPL), as well as KKN Management representatives from the University of Lampung (UNILA) and the Sumatran Institute of Technology (ITERA) Lampung. The Rector and Vice-Rectors, Chair of the Senate, Deans, UNILA and ITERA KKN Managers carried out the symbolic release of the KKN participants. The release was marked by the installation of attributes in the form of KKN hats to student representatives and dozens of doves to symbolise the students being released into the wild to adapt and do community service. For UNIB itself, 10 Bilateral KKN participants from ITERA and 12 from UNILA joined in the 100th period of KKN, so the 100th-period e KKN participants released today were 3,004. Besides that, 30 students from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta are also currently carrying out the Collaborative Community Service Program on Enggano Island. The KKN locations for the 3,004 students released today (UNIB regular KKN and Bilateral KKN from ITERA and UNILA) cover 4 (four) districts/cities in Bengkulu Province. In detail, as many as 211 people in Bengkulu City, 263 people in Kepahiang Regency, 1330 people in Bengkulu Tengah Regency, and as many as 1200 people in North Bengkulu Regency.
