Tuesday morning (27/6/2023), the Rector of UNIB, Dr. Retno Agustina Ekaputri, S.E, M.Sc announced the final results of the long process of international accreditation by the ACQUIN institution and stated that as many as 69 Study Programs had been internationally accredited, including 13 Study Programs within the Faculty of Agriculture. “Alhamdulillah, thanks be to God Almighty; last night (Monday, 26/06), I was contacted by the ACQUIN Headquarters in Germany, who stated that the results of the international accreditation process, which was carried out in November 2022, have come out. The result is that as many as 69 Study Programs in eight UNIB faculties plus one institutional accreditation have been declared INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED, so in total we will receive 70 International Accreditation Certificates from ACQUIN,” said Dr. Retno Agustina in front of all UNIB leaders. The Rector invited all Vice-Rectors, Deans, Heads of Bureaus, heads of institutions, and heads of UNIB’s work units to meet in his office Tuesday morning. The goal is that this happy news and a historical moment can be immediately disseminated to all UNIB academics waiting for the results of the international accreditation process, which was held last November 2022.

Simultaneously, the Dean of Faperta, Prof. Dwi Wahyuni Ganefianti, was delighted and touched by the final results of the joint performance of the University’s academic community. “The achievement of ACQUIN International accreditation is an encouragement for all of us to continue to do our best,” he said. As previously informed, ACQUIN (The Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute) is an association registered with EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education). EQAR is an international standard accreditation, certification and quality assurance institution recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 83/P/2020 dated 24 January 2020. ACQUIN aims to accredit bachelor’s and master’s programs in all disciplines and across all types of universities to ensure high-quality degree programs, create market transparency, increase the University’s attractiveness to international students, and promote the comparability of academic degrees. ACQUIN membership has more than 150 universities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United States, Liechtenstein, Egypt, Mongolia, and Lebanon. Bravoo UNIB, Bravoo Faperta!
