Vice Dean for Student Affairs Opens the Socialization Event for the Election of the General Election Voting Committee (P2PEMIRA) for Students of the Faculty of Agriculture

To uphold the principles of democracy and ensure the smooth process of selecting the Governor of BEM FP UNIB, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs (Dr. Hesti Pujiwati) opened the Socialization event for the Voter Selection Committee for the Student General Election of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Bengkulu. The event, organized by the Student General Election Commission (KPU) of the FP UNIB, took place on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 13.00 to 14.30 WIB.

This event was held in the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Meeting Room. It was attended by student associations and student organizations (Ormawa) within the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu.

During the event, the participants explained the procedures and regulations governing the upcoming Student General Election relating to the Election of the Student General Election Voting Committee (P2PEMIRA) for the Faculty of Agriculture. The Vice Dean emphasized the importance of active student participation in the election process and encouraged students to use their rights responsibly.

The session was also an opportunity for students to ask questions or raise concerns regarding the election process, which representatives from the General Election Commission answered.

This initiative aims to create a sense of civic responsibility among students and promote transparency and accountability in the electoral process. Through events like this, the Faculty of Agriculture maintains its commitment to forming informed and engaged students; this is important for advancing democratic values within the student academic community.
