3 HIMA/ORMAWA from FP-UNIB Awarded KEMRISTEK DIKTI 2024 PPK Ormawa Funding

Bengkulu, May 24, 2024 – The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (FP-UNIB) has achieved a remarkable national accomplishment. Three student organizations (ormawa) from FP-UNIB have successfully secured funding from the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (KEMRISTEK DIKTI) in 2024. This achievement demonstrates the students’ strong commitment to improving community welfare through various innovative programs.

1. HIMA SYLVA – Forestry Study program

Title: Business Assistance for Single-Origin Coffee and Coffee Husk Biobriquettes with Omnichannel Marketing in Tebat Pulau Village for the Welfare of Forest Farmers

Scheme: Forest Village 

Chair: Wahyu Firmansyah 

Supervising Lecturer: Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Sc.

2. Cendikia Media Student Activity Unit (UKM MEDIA CENDIKIA)

Title: Assistance for Young Farmers in Lubuk Gilang Seluma Village in Improving Competence in Integrated Farming-Based Honey Bee Cultivation

Scheme: Young Farmer Studio 

Chair: Juli Wenti Evionita 

Supervising Lecturer: Ridha Rizki Novanda, SE., M.Sc.

3. HIMAILKA – Marine Science Study Program

Title: Optimization of Edutourism Potential in Kebun Keling Village through Empowerment Activities to Improve Socio-Economic Resilience of Coastal Communities

Scheme: Maritime Village 

Chair: M. Fahri Alfhaizh 

Supervising Lecturer: Ana Ariasari, S.Pi., M.Sc.

The achievements of these three student organizations are not only a source of pride for the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, but also tangible evidence of the student’s contribution to village community development. It is hoped that the designed programs will run smoothly and benefit the target communities significantly.
