
Vice Dean for Student Affairs Opens BMW-UNIB 2024 Program Socialization Event, Organized by HIMATIN
BENGKULU, May 26, 2024—The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si., officially opened the socialization event and proposal-writing workshop for the BMW-UNIB 2024 program, organized by the Agricultural Industrial Technology Student Association (HIMATIN). The event, held at the PKM Building (Room 2), aimed to enhance student’s understanding and skills in preparing BMW (Bantuan Mahasiswa Wirausaha) proposals.
In her opening remarks, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs emphasized the importance of the BMW program in fostering entrepreneurial spirit among students. “I hope this socialization event will broaden your knowledge and understanding of how to create quality BMW proposals. With guidance in proposal writing, we aim to increase the number of funded BMW proposals in the future,” she stated.
HIMATIN’s advisor, Ulfa Anis, S.TP, M.Sc., also attended the event and expressed full support for the students’ entrepreneurial efforts. “Stay motivated in crafting your BMW proposals. These proposals can be submitted by students who already have a business or those who are just starting one,” she added.
The socialization event included a detailed presentation on the BMW program, covering aspects such as eligibility criteria, application procedures, and types of support available. HIMATIN representatives highlighted the program’s goal of empowering students with financial aid, mentorship, and essential business skills training.
A vital component of the event was the proposal writing workshop, where participants received hands-on guidance on how to prepare compelling and fundable BMW proposals. The workshop aimed to equip students with practical skills and strategies to enhance the quality of their submissions. Participants also had the opportunity to interact with previous BMW program beneficiaries who shared their success stories and insights.
