
Vice Dean for Student Affairs Closes the Rimba Event Grand Night – 31st Hima Sylva Anniversary.
BENGKULU, Saturday, May 25, 2024 – The grand night of the Rimba Event, celebrating the 31st anniversary of the Forestry Student Association (Hima Sylva-PCSI UNIB) at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu, was successfully held. The event was lively and attended by forestry lecturers: Prof. Agus Susatya, Ir. Putranto BAN, M.Sc, and Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si.
The Chairman of Hima Sylva, Teni Nuryani, delivered an enthusiastic speech, expressing pride and gratitude to all the organizers and participants who contributed to the event. “This anniversary proves that Hima Sylva continues to innovate and create in various fields,” said Teni.
The event continued with remarks from the Advisor of Hima Sylva, M. Fajrin Hidayat, S.Hut., M.Si. In his speech, Fajrin appreciated the hard work of the committee and the active participation of the students. “May this event strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and enhance the spirit of togetherness among students, faculty, and alumni,” he stated.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si., who was also present and gave the closing remarks, expressed high appreciation for the success of the event. “I am very proud to see the enthusiasm and creativity of Hima Sylva students. This event is not only a celebration but also a platform for self-development,” said Dr. Hesti.
The grand night was also highlighted by the awarding of prizes to the winners of various competitions held previously. Winners of the Mini-Soccer, Volleyball, Tug of War, Solo Song, and Mobile Legends competitions, as well as the best football supporter category, received their awards from the forestry lecturers.
To enliven the atmosphere, musical performances by Forestry Band, Jokster Band, Fakta Kata Band, and Dirty Mind Band entertained the audience. These performances added to the festive spirit of the event and made the grand night of the Rimba Event an unforgettable memory. This grand night was not only a celebration but also a tangible proof of the spirit and togetherness within the Hima Sylva family. With the closing ceremony of this event, it is hoped that the same spirit will continue to be maintained and inspire positive activities in the future.
