Opening Ceremony of the 9th Soil Science Social

Tuesday, May 28, 2024 – The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si, of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bengkulu, officially opened the 9th Soil Science Social (SSS) event, held at 08:00 WIB in the parking lot of the Soil Science Laboratory. Muhimatul Husna, SP., M.Si, the Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Prof. Priyono Prawito, PhD, the Coordinator of the Soil Science Study Program, and Dr. Sukisno, SP., M.Si, a Lecturer of the Soil Science Study Program attended the event.

In her opening remarks, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs congratulated all 9th Soil Science Social participants. She hoped the event would run smoothly and that all participants would remain healthy. “Maintain the good name of the University of Bengkulu and leave a positive impression on the residents of Sambirejo,” she advised all attendees and organizers.

She also emphasized the importance of adhering to the planned schedule. “For the organizing committee, ensure all activities are carried out according to the planned rundown, and for the participants, follow all activities according to the rundown,” she added.

The 9th Soil Science Social is expected to benefit all participants by deepening their knowledge and skills in soil science and strengthening the relationships between students, lecturers, and the local community.

This event is a tangible demonstration of the University of Bengkulu’s commitment to enhancing student competencies and fostering harmonious relationships with the community. It is hoped that this event will benefit all involved parties.
