Inauguration of the Newly Elected Governor and Vice Governor of BEM Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu

Bengkulu, July 1, 2024 – The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bengkulu held an inauguration ceremony for the newly elected Governor and Vice Governor of the Student Executive Board (BEM). The event was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, SP., M.Si., and was also attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by 45 people, including the elected Governor, M. Hafidz Hikmaturrohman, and Vice Governor, Khella Juliana, along with their cabinet members. Also present were representatives from the Student Representative Council (DPM), the Election Committee (KPU), the Supervisory Committee for Student Elections (P2PEMIRA), and student organizations within the Faculty of Agriculture.

In his opening remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of strong leadership and collaboration in driving student initiatives and enhancing the academic environment. He congratulated the newly elected officials and expressed his confidence in their ability to lead the students effectively.

The Vice Dean, Dr. Hesti Pujiwati, SP., M.Si., also delivered a speech highlighting the role of student organizations in creating a dynamic campus life and encouraging active student participation in various activities.

The newly inaugurated Governor, M. Hafidz Hikmaturrohman, in his speech, expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and his team. He outlined his vision for the upcoming term, focusing on improving student welfare, promoting academic excellence, and fostering community among students.

The event concluded with a group photo and a reception, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the BEM Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bengkulu. This inauguration marks a significant milestone for the newly elected leaders and reinforces the Faculty of Agriculture’s commitment to supporting student leadership and development.
