Faculty of Agriculture Unib Prepares Strategic Plan 2025-2029

The Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) of the University of Bengkulu is preparing the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan (Renstra) to guide planning and implementing faculty development for the next four years. This preparation process follows the previous Renstra, which will end in 2024.

In a discussion held at the Santika Bengkulu Hotel on October 17, 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Indra Cahyadinaya, S.P., M.Sc., said that this Renstra is expected to be a guideline for the direction of the faculty’s programs and activities and play a role in improving the quality of higher education and the development of science and technology.

“The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu has a strategic role in improving the quality of human resources. This Renstra is important to equip graduates with intermediate to high skills that support productivity and competitiveness,” said Dr. Indra.

The Renstra preparation process involves various stakeholders, both internal and external, including lecturers, heads of departments, study program coordinators, alums and the private sector in Bengkulu Province. The Head of the Drafting Team, Dr. Ir. Teguh Adiprasetyo, M.Sc., revealed that input from various parties is still being received to perfect the draft Renstra that has been prepared.
