RELEASE OF INTERNATIONAL MBKM STUDENTS TO THAILAND AND P2MW PARTICIPANTS TO KMI EXPO XV KENDARI.

On Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture Dean’s Building, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, S.P., M.Si, released 2 students from the Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture who will take part in the International MBKM Program located at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) Research Institute of Modern Organic Agriculture (RIMOA) in Bangkok, Thailand for 3 months under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ir. Nanik Setyowati, M.Sc and partner Prof. Kaseem Soythong.

The two students, Puja Tri Rahma (Soil Science Study Program) and Andika Jody Setiawan (Agroecotechnology Study Program), will carry out the international MBKM program through internships and international research activities. The Faculty of Agriculture, UNIB, assisted them with living expenses and transportation costs. While in Thailand, KMITL provided accommodation and research facilities.

On the same occasion, FP UNIB students who were delegates to participate in KMI EXPO XV at Halu Oleo University in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, on October 23-25, 2024, were also released. The two groups were the Group entitled Besuretic Batik Besurek For Your Daily Outfits in the Creative Industry, Arts and Culture category with Chairperson Lidya Eka Aprianti (Agribusiness Study Program) under the guidance of Ridha Rizki N., S.P., M.Si and the Group entitled CLUPI CUP Innovation of Ready-to-Brew Ginger Coffee Drinks Without Dregs in the Food and Beverage category consisting of Nova Anggriana, Tiara Diah Oktama, Sis Setiawan, Arfan Firmansyah and Ari Wahyudi (Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program) under the guidance of Ir. Lukman Hidayat, M.S.

Also attending the release ceremony were the Vice Deans, Head of Department, Head of Study Program, Head of Laboratory around the Faculty of Agriculture UNIB and the Supervising Lecturer of the activity. Specifically, in the morning Puja and Andika, participants of the International MBKM were also released by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of UNIB, Prof. Dr. Lutfi Firdaus, M.Si at the Office of the Vice Chancellor of UNIB.
