
Six Faculty of Agriculture Students Given Briefing to Participate in the 2024 UNIB Campus Ambassador Selection
Bengkulu, October 25, 2024—The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu (UNIB), provided a special briefing to six students selected to participate in the 2024 UNIB Campus Ambassador Selection. This briefing aims to prepare students to show their best and bring a good name to the Faculty of Agriculture at the university level.
The six students who participated in the briefing were Wenti Dwi Maharani and Theresya Rimma Karina Br Panggabean from the Agribusiness Study Program, Asri Jum’atul Aziza and Irvani from the Agroecotechnology Study Program, and Farid Turabi Ikhsan and Erji Junita from the Forestry Study Program.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Indra Cahyadinata, expressed his hope that the students could demonstrate their abilities and potential as faculty representatives. “You are the representatives of the Faculty of Agriculture, so show your character, knowledge, and passion,” he said.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr Hesti Pujiwati, also attended this briefing and emphasized the importance of students becoming ambassadors who can inspire their friends. “Be a good role model and remain humble. Being able to lead, inspire, and educate fellow students is the characteristic of an ambassador that the university expects,” said Dr. Hesti.
In addition, two lecturers from the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Marlin and Hefri Oktoyoki, S.Hut., M.Si, were also present to provide motivation and direction regarding technical preparation and presentation materials. In this briefing session, students were given various tips on how to communicate effectively, build self-confidence, and face a question-and-answer session with the jury professionally.
The 2024 UNIB Campus Ambassador Selection is a prestigious annual event at the University of Bengkulu. This activity is expected to produce campus ambassadors who are intelligent, have character, and care about the development of the campus and community.
The six students are ready to compete and bring the spirit of the Faculty of Agriculture to the event that will be held soon. They hope to give the best results and bring honour to the faculty’s name.
