HIMATIN FAMILY: Fostering Togetherness at the Agricultural Technology Laboratory

Bengkulu, February 22, 2025 – The 2025 Executive Board of HIMATIN, through its Member Welfare Bureau, organized the HIMATIN FAMILY event at the Agricultural Technology Laboratory, Bengkulu University courtyard. The initiative aimed to strengthen camaraderie among HIMATIN members through a series of positive and beneficial activities.

The event commenced with a group exercise session, which all participants enthusiastically attended. Following the exercise, attendees engaged in a tree-planting activity around the laboratory area. Beyond its environmental benefits, the tree planting symbolized HIMATIN’s commitment to preserving nature.

Subsequently, all participants participated in gotong royong (communal work) to clean the grounds surrounding the Agricultural Technology Laboratory and the HIMATIN Secretariat. This collective effort created a more pleasant environment and fostered a sense of shared responsibility.

Participants gathered for a porridge meal to conclude the event, further enhancing the warm and familial atmosphere. This moment of togetherness allowed HIMATIN members to interact more informally, strengthening their mutual bonds.

“We would like to thank everyone who participated in and supported the HIMATIN FAMILY event. We hope this activity will enhance members’ sense of unity as they continue to engage in future positive endeavors,” remarked a HIMATIN 2025 Member Welfare Bureau representative.

Through this event, HIMATIN aspires to continue promoting a spirit of solidarity and social responsibility among students, particularly in the field of Industrial Agricultural Technology. Similar events are hoped to be held regularly to cultivate community and cooperative spirit.
