Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Bengkulu, Hosts Faperta Award 2025 and Retirement Ceremony for Academic and Administrative Staff

Bengkulu, [GLT, 14 January 2025] – The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Bengkulu (Faperta UNIB), once again the Faperta Award 2025 as a formal recognition of outstanding academic and administrative staff, alongside a Retirement Appreciation Ceremony honoring faculty members and staff who have dedicated their service to the institution.

The event was conducted in a solemn and dignified atmosphere, featuring an opening session, the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem and the Universitas Bengkulu March, recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, as well as keynote remarks delivered by the Jury Committee Representative and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Suharyanto.

Evaluation Framework of the Faperta Award 2025

In her address, the Chair of the Jury Committee, Prof. Endang Sulistyowati, emphasized that the Faperta Award assessment process was conducted objectively and based on verified data from multiple academic support units. The awards were categorized as follows:

1. Best Lecturer Category

Assessment was based on the Learning Evaluation System (SIEPEL) conducted by LPMPP involving 183 faculty members, with evaluation criteria including:

• Instructional planning

• Implementation and management of the learning process

• Evaluation of learning outcomes

2. Best Researcher and Community Service Category

Nominations were proposed by each academic program, with evaluation criteria covering:

• Research and community engagement activities

• Publications in national and international journals

3. Best Student Organization Advisor (HIMA/ORMAWA) Category

Data were obtained from the Academic Support Unit (UPA) for PKM, with criteria including:

• Active involvement in mentoring student activities

• Supervision of student proposal development

4. Best Administrative Staff Category

Assessment was based on a comprehensive staff survey, with criteria including:

• Work performance (targets, quality, and timeliness)

• Professional conduct (service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, teamwork, and initiative)

5. Dedicated Faculty and Staff Category

This award was granted to faculty members and staff who had entered their retirement period, based on the Faculty Personnel Register (DUK) as of December 2025.
